Grateful for LuLaRoe Business Model
Six months ago, I never knew that such a company existed: LuLaRoe. Their business mission and vision is: “where through fashion we create freedom, serve others and strengthen families, a place where lives are being blessed, and dreams achieved, through love, purpose, confidence, trust and growth.”
My daughter, Kirsten Thomas, started buying the clothes, other people around me were wearing the clothes, and it seems to be in the buzz wherever I go. People in business are wearing the pieces to work with a blazer over them.
On October 20, 2016, I decided to become an angel investor for my daughter to start her LuLaRoe business. She received her first inventory box two weeks ago (this past Saturday – it was two weeks ago). The article that Business Insider published on September 2nd is really true. I believe my daughter will be a millionaire by this time next year. TODAY, she has earned revenues which exceed 150% back of my initial investment. While she is learning how to sell, the product is doing it for her. People who buy LuLaRoe clothing are coming to her. Her modest group of 112 grew to over 1,000 shoppers on Facebook. Word is spreading rapidly. She gave me some clothes from her inventory and everywhere I go, people are asking me “where did you get that [pointing to my Leggings, Amelia, Mimi or Sarah]. I am on my second box of 1000 business cards, as I hand one out to whomever asks.
I have a career in the high tech industry and I have not ever seen a business grow so rapidly. LuLaRoe is about 3 years old, and just in the past couple of months, I have seen exponential growth. There is something to the mission and vision and the product. Customers are addicted!!! The clothing appears to be of the same quality or better than that sold by Macys, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor or Neiman Marcus, yet it is very affordable. The newest line called the Elegant Collection has shimmery and shiny pieces which are prettier than what I have seen the racks this year. The line of clothing is very comfortable. Their Leggings are made with a patent pending fabric that has a buttery soft feeling. All clothes are handmade – very well-sewn.
If you are interested in learning more about the products or to purchase, join her VIP group on Facebook [search for her group LuLaRoe on the Mountainside VIPs], or you want to get in on this business model, feel free to reach out to Kirsten at LuLaRoe on the Mountainside by emailing her at Mo*****************@***il.com. She will be happy to explain it to you, send you more information, and give you a link to join the business.
I feel so blessed to have been able to support Kirsten in this decision. I see the transformation the mission and vision has had on her (on all of her family, including me), and the financial benefits. I am also thankful to DeAnne Stidham and her vision with this business. She is a great role model for the thousands of consultants the business now has. (When the article was published on September 2nd, the consultant count was reported to be approximately 35,000; now it is > 50,000).
Wishing each of you a Happy Thanksgiving!
